Kronos Science has developed several assays that are biomarkers of oxidative stress.  Precise detection is accomplished utilizing LC/MS/MS and HPLC methodologies.  For measuring oxidative stress damage factors, assays for isoprostanes (lipid peroxidation), DNA damage, protein peroxidation and leukotrienes are available.  For examination of oxidative stress protection factors, KSL provides assays for tocopherols (vitamin E), carotenoids, carotenes, ascorbic acid and homocysteine; along with other automated tests.  Performed by few laboratories outside of academic centers, Kronos offers these biomarkers of oxidative stress commercially for use in research, drug development and in clinical trials.  See the OXIDATIVE STRESS PANEL page for more information, FEATURED ASSAYS section or our TEST MENU for our complete service offering.

 

 

 Kronos Science provides central laboratory and contract research services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and clinical research industries.  Pharmaceutical firms and academic centers come to KS for both research and development projects; requesting oxidative stress markers, fatty acid panels, high sensitivity vitamins, nutritionals and hormone panels. For clinical trials, KS provides these assays as well as a wide variety of standard tests utilized in the field.   Kronos contracts directly with pharma and biotech firms for these services or provides them on a subcontracting basis to large central labs and clinical trial sites. To see more go to the FEATURED ASSAYS section or our TEST MENU for our complete service offering.
