Kronos Science has developed a number of unique assays for its own research projects. Much of this research has focused on aging and longevity, with assays developed to determine oxidative stress, cardiovascular risk, endocrine status and nutritional status. Precise detection is accomplished utilizing liquid chromatography tandem mass spectroscopy (LC/MS/MS), gas chromatography mass spectroscopy (GC/MS), gas chromatography flame ionization detector GC/FID), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP MS) and atomic absorption analysis. These assays are also available on a contract basis for our clients.

Unique and highly sensitive, these assays for DNA damage, isoprostane analysis, protein peroxidation, high sensitivity vitamins, glutathione, nutritional components, leukotrienes, trace metals, fatty acids and high sensitivity hormones are performed by few laboratories outside of academic centers.
